"Preventable Accidents Are the Leading Cause of Death & Disability among Pre-Senior Dogs and Cats." Thom Somes, "The Pet Safety GuyTM"
Today more and more pet sitting companies are setting themselves apart by requiring their sitters to be trained in pet first aid techniques. Does your neighbor, family member, friend or professional sitter (in other words the one who cares for your pet when you are away), know Pet First Aid techniques?
Upcoming Classes: Denver, Colorado and New Breman, Ohio
Pet First Aid Course PAW-lause
This class has given me invaluable tools for a possible life threatening situation for my dog. Lisa does an excellent job teaching you what you need to know in the event of an emergency. Remember, safety knows no season or time of day! Laurel Patterson, pet parent
I highly recommend Lisa Faust's first aid and CPR class for pet owners and professional pet sitters/walkers. The one day class was very informative and Lisa is an excellent instructor. It was a good learning experience and I appreciated practicing "hands-on" first aid skills with stuffed animals. At the end of the class we each received a Pet First Aid book that I keep with me at all times. Susan Becia, Littleton Dog Sitting, LLC
The Pet Tech Pet First Aid class offers comprehensive information and is very useful if you work with pets. I highly recommend the course for all pet professionals and pet owners. Adam Jones, Tailwaggerz
This course should be on your "to do" list, NOW. Do not delay. My dog swallows nearly anything; right after the course he swallowed one of my knee highs and I knew what to do. He threw it up within 15 minutes. I called the vet; she was amazed that I knew how to act so quickly. Pat Marcadia, animal person
